Farm To
Fashion Show

December 4, 2018 | 6:00 - 8:00 PM | Larimer Social, Denver, CO

“Fashion creates meaning, and meaning creates action. Let us act together towards a sustainable future in fashion.”
~ Céline Semaan, designer, advocate and founder of Slow Factory

Join us on December 4th at Larimer Social for a unique showcase of fashion and apparel brands that consider stewardship of natural resources; a celebration of fashion’s roots and its regenerative future. Farm to Fashion envisions an industry where people and planet are fully supported by the creation of our clothing, where we are connected to the origins of the fibers we wear and to all the hands that help in the manifestation of our apparel.

Why Fashion

It may be shocking to learn that the fashion industry is the second largest industrial polluter next to oil. Fashion accounts for 10% of global carbon emissions, and textile dying is second only to agriculture in its use and contamination of fresh water. We’ve lost touch with the fibers that make up our fashion, and with the ways that the pursuit of personal style directly affects the health of our soil and waterways. Prepare to be inspired by a new generation of designers who create clothing with these impacts in mind – conscious clothing to make you feel beautiful, inside and out.

Whose on the Runway
